Description

Sophie Hair Bracelet, made with resin. We can place your loved ones’ hair, your little one’s first curl or a little of your pets’ fur into a bezel with crystal clear resin. Using locks of human hair in jewellery has a long and rich tradition in many cultures which you can read more about in this Wiki article.

We will respectfully cast only your loved one’s hair or fur – you can see Nikki’s YouTube tutorials here and know that I never film without your permission. I’m considered an expert and offer advanced courses in making keepsake and memorial jewellery, so you’re in safe hands. You might see my designs and stock images elsewhere because other artists buy them from me over on Keepsaker Supplies (you’re welcome to buy from there if you’d rather DIY!)

Birthstone additions are free, just let us know what you’d like in the order comments (any combination). You can view our colour option galleries here (click) for lots of examples of pieces using that colour mix. Each piece will look unique because of the natural colours of the hair or fur and we can’t predict the results. The photos in the gallery are EXAMPLES and the results will vary. We will use our best efforts with white hair, which is clear in resin, to give the hair some depth and bounce some light off the strands. If you’d like us to use grey, white, salt and pepper or very light blonde hair then it may or may not show up in the resin, have a look at this gallery

We’ll send you a free kit a week or so after you order and here’s some advice on sending it in, please read it. It’s really important you keep some hair back just in case. You can send us a photo on our Facebook page of the amount you have, so we can tell you how much of it we need.

Optional Extras

You can request some extras in your piece by clicking here. For example, our forget me not flower and gold leaf are very popular – please make sure you see the example photos (as always) to ensure you have a good idea of how they might look. Usually, less is more!

Two Loop Bracelets
Our bracelet bezels are 10mm round or 10mm heart shaped with an adjustable bracelet. It will be mdeium size (around 20cm or 8″) but please let us know in the comments if you’d like it longer or shorter. It does up with an 8mm carabiner clasp (lobster clasp). Also available in solid gold, price on request.

Bracelet Engraving

Engraving can be done in Arial font as standard or Silver South Serif etc, or for image engraving see this page like handwriting for no extra charge. We can work with any font or image, please get in touch to discuss alternatives. You can ask for *heart* or *footprint emoji* etc rather than typing it, sometimes the ones on a phone or tablet aren’t accepted when you try to add to basket!

For image engraving see this page – you can add handwriting, fingerprints, footprints, handprints or a special pattern. You can choose Roman numerals, birth, marriage or death coordinates (we’re happy to help you work that out), or messages of love, hope, and remembrance. We are even happy to include more “colourful” language!
