You can view our colour option galleries here (click) for lots of examples of pieces using that colour mix. Each piece will look unique because of the natural colours of the hair or fur and we can’t predict the results and we must use colour (you can’t choose clear resin). We will use our best efforts with white hair, which is clear in resin, to give the hair some depth and bounce some light off the strands. If you’d like us to use grey, white, salt and pepper or very light blonde hair in the Megan Lock of Hair Ring then it may or may not show up in the resin, have a look at this white hair gallery
lock of hair or fur sending kits
We’ll send you a kit a week or so after you order and here’s some advice on sending it in, please read it. It’s really important you keep some hair back just in case. You can send us a photo on our Facebook page of the amount you have, so we can tell you how much of it we need.

You can request some extras in your piece by clicking here. For example, our forget me not flower and gold leaf are very popular – please make sure you see the example photos (as always) to ensure you have a good idea of how they might look. Usually, less is more!
Lexi Hair Heart Ring
These rings are cast for Nikki in solid sterling silver, minimum 925 purity and are less likely to tarnish than sterling. If you’d prefer to DIY this ring then please see the listing on our sister site Keepsaker Supplies and order it as a memorial DIY kit!
Ring Size
You can choose “send sizer” from the ring size dropdown above and we will post one out with your kit. It’s no extra charge. Please do not use a tape measure to find your ring size, we’ll send you a sizer free of charge with your kit!
Ring Engraving
Engraving can be done in Arial font as standard, Times New Roman, or Silver South Serif, Bugaki, Gabrielly, Monotype Corsiva, Lucida Calligraphy, Eyelash and Mordova. Please remember the band is quite slim so the letters must be small. We don’t recommend image engraving or handwriting fonts like Vivaldi, Amazone BT or Silver South Script because they would be too small to read. Click on each font to see it “in action” with your chosen words. We can work with any font, please get in touch to discuss alternatives. You can even request emojis or icons, just write *heart* or [heart icon] because sometimes the ones on a phone or tablet aren’t accepted when you try to add to basket!

Engraving is done on the inside of our bands as standard, please let us know in the comments if you’d prefer it on the outside.
