Cremation Ashes Teardrop Ring made with solid silver by hand. When we lose a person we love, or a pet who has been our companion through thick and thin, we might want a physical way to keep them close. Add an additional element like a lock of hair or fur, or petals too if you like.

We will respectfully cast only your loved one’s remains into resin and give you a choice of stones. You can see Nikki’s YouTube tutorials here and know that I never film without your permission. Cremation Ashes Teardrop Ring Resin Colour Options

You can classic ashes with clear resin, or pick one of our colour sparkle mixes to be added to the resin. Look at the colour options page here to see more info about each variation and examples, including how each colour works with birthstones (see below). Each piece will look unique because of the natural colours of the ashes and we can’t predict the results. We can do any colour; if you’d like something different just choose the closest colour and tell us in the notes the shade you’d like. For example, if you’d like “baby blue” choose Aegean blue above and write “baby blue colour resin” in the comments.

Adding A Lock Of Hair

You can add a lock of hair or petals as an additional element to any of our cremation ashes memorial jewellery. Just write what you’d like in the “adding hair” box above. Adding a second person/pet’s ashes is free, just put a note in the comments with the names of the people who the ash belongs to, we will send you two pots. For example, “we’d like each ring to contain ashes from Gran and Uncle, please send a kit with two pots for them”. You don’t have to mix them to send, we can label the pots for you.

We’ll post you a kit to post us the ashes a week or so after you order and here’s some advice on sending it in, please read it. It’s really important you keep some ash back and don’t send too much. “Less is more” with cremation ashes jewellery.

Silver Ring Settings

These totally handmade silver rings are available in several different styles of band. They are handcrafted by keepsake artist and jewellery designers and are made in-house. We use Argentium silver for most of our ring bands (except bubble and star bands), which is a little purer than sterling at 935 or 940 purity and are less likely to tarnish than sterling. Please note, the bubble and twist bands are the thinnest and may be prone to knocking, the most sturdy option is the wide, chunky or classic band, and you can request those to be brushed, satin, shiny, textured or tree bark in the comments (highly recommended).

These teardrop rings are ideal for daily wear, no longer having the scalloped edge which used to catch on clothing. The teardrop or pear setting is an 8x6mm solid sterling silver smooth edge bezel cup. We would also recommend a heart ashes ring here.

They are handcrafted by Nikki Kamminga and are made in-house. 

Ring Size

You can choose “send sizer” from the ring size dropdown above and we will post one out with your kit. It’s no extra charge. Twisted and bubble wire rings will be made in the size provided and are comfort fit and easy to put on. The wide band rings such as textured, brushed and shiny will automatically be made a size bigger to allow for their width. Please do not use a tape measure! We can engrave 3mm and 6mm wide bands (satin, textured, tree bark) and classic bands, but unfortunately not bubble or twisted bands. Engraving is done in Arial font as standard, but please let us know if you’d prefer another font such as Times New Roman, Vivaldi, Amazone BT, or Silver South Serif & Script in the comments of the product before adding it to the basket. Click on each font to see it “in action” with your chosen words. We can work with any font, please get in touch to discuss alternatives. We recommend Arial, Times New Roman or Silver South Serif for long messages, and handwriting fonts like Vivaldi, Amazone BT or Silver South Script are great for short messages and on larger pieces. Copy and paste these emojis, sometimes the ones on a phone or tablet aren’t accepted when you try to add to basket!

Engraving is done on the inside of our silver bands as standard, please let us know in the comments if you’d prefer it on the outside. These teardrop rings are ideal for special occasion wear and may catch on clothing due to the corner and crown point edge. They are not ideal for everyone for everyday wear due to size, instead we would recommend an oval Cremation Ashes Ring here. The satin, textured and tree bark bands are the sturdiest option as they’re wider and give you a larger surface area soldered. If you’d prefer a 6mm band please let us know in the comments, no extra charge, also engravable.
