How I Provide a Personal Approach

Hi, I’m Nikki Lovegrove and I’ve been making memorial jewellery for over ten years. It’s not just how I provide for my family; each piece means something special to me. I try to provide exceptional client care to every client that sends their loved one’s cremation ashes or hair.

I Offer Totally Unique Pieces

Every piece is totally different, whether you’re including birthstones, petals or even a bit of fabric or you pet’s collar. When you’re navigating grief, I don’t want to overwhelm you with too much choice but you can look back through our Instagram posts and see if anything inspires you. To add precious metal leaf or opals etc just ask in the comments when you order.

Memorial Jewellery Made With Empathy and Sensitivity

The ordering process is easy, just choose the colour and setting, tell us any engraving you’d like and extras then add it to the basket. After you pay, we’ll send you a kit and we make your piece. You can even request a “proof photo” so we send you a photo of the piece before finishing to check you’re happy. The pieces usually take a month or two from receipt of your inclusions*.

With my team you’ll find a compassionate ear. We listen when you tell us about your loved one and show respect when working with their remains. I usually burn incense but you can ask me to light a candle or play a special song. I will be patient and kind and my reviews say that I keep clients up to date throughout the process.

Managing Expectations with Care

Making memorial pieces is an art not a science. Every piece is different and reflects the natural colour of your inclusions. If you’re sending in very dark ashes, please let us know if you’d like them to be more subtle so the colours in the jewellery stay vibrant, or would you like us to celebrate the natural colours? If you post in light colour hair, it can sometimes go clear in resin so we’ll try to manage your expectations and offer ideas to make the hair as visible as possible.

We want you to be delighted with the outcome and we’ll guide you on how to care for your precious jewellery, ensuring its beauty and durability for years to come.

Personalisation: Crafting a Unique Tribute

With free text engraving and inexpensive image engraving (such as fingerprints and handwriting) the jewellery will reflect your sense of style and their personality. At Tree of Opals, our goal is to turn a difficult time into a jewellery experience where you feel supported, respected and find comfort in a beautiful, lasting tribute. We are honoured to be a part of creating something so meaningful for you.
