The cord is the literal lifeline which connects your baby to the placenta where your blood is shared. Umbilical cord and placenta jewellery pieces capture a little bit of that physical connection. Whilst placenta jewellery is beautiful, it can be tricky to preserve. The cord stump, on the other hand, is something that falls off naturally when your baby’s about a week old. Many parents choose to keep the clip or tie and we only need a tiny piece of it.

I can help you by making something completely wearable, you don’t need to tell anyone what’s inside unless you want to. I’ve been teaching this for 11 years.

In 2017, I was on This Morning with Holly and Phil. This took so much courage, I was very unhappy with my body at the time and weighed literally twice what I do now! Holly was so kind, and told me she’d have loved a piece of my breastmilk jewellery if she’d still had some in the freezer. The team on the day were amazing, especially the make-up artist who gave me some advice that started me on my journey to leaving unhappy situation.

We offer anything from simple round silver pendants with your baby’s scan photo engraved on the back, to 14ct solid hallmarked rose gold ornate hearts with all the sparkle options in the world. You can add your baby’s hair from the day they’re born (complete with vernix if you like) to their birthstone, some of the pregnancy test or even choose a breastmilk necklace with an umbilical cord addition

The Process: Umbilical Cord Inclusion Posting Kits
After you order, we’ll send you an inclusion kit with your order number and details. You’ll get instructions and we only need a tiny piece of the cord. It can be ten years old or ten days old! So long as it’s completely dry.
