Baby News
I’ve been so excited to share this news with you – Joanna has had her baby! We’re all really proud of you and we wish you guys so much love and warm wishes. Now Joanna can decide on some keepsakes after helping so many new parents choose theirs over the past three years. Joanna has decided to keep helping us while little one sleeps and has been sending out kits to some of you who have ordered recently and I’m so grateful. Big shout out to Joanna’s mum who’s been helping out too!
Limited Company
Our second big announcement is that we are turning into a limited company. The Viking (Hákun, our web developer, my hubby and daddy to Ayla and Bastian), Andrea (our resin artist) and Azaria (our social media manager) and I are waiting for our new company number and we’ll update our website when we have it. Our first project has been trying to find a reliable engraving service since we were let down so badly recently. We’ve received some gorgeous text engraved pieces back and we’re still working on images – more info soon…
Vlogger Review
Vlogger Meg from Lez Go Traveling gave us a fantastic review with a beautiful and heartfelt story taking us through her journey buying a cremation ash ring.
New Products
We have introduced a range of glass cremation ash jewellery here, made by Gail in sunny Bournemouth. Gail has been working with glass over 10 years and has been adding ashes into glass creations for a few years. We’re working on the current pieces and adding new all the time. Our next aim is cabochons for rings and cufflinks.
We’ve brought back our heart necklaces by popular demand! We’ve created heart rings and dangle charms too which are 10% handmade from scratch.
Funeral Home Concessions
We’re happy to be working with funeral homes now. Your funeral director can place the order for you and send in your loved one’s ashes or hair and you can collect your jewellery 8 weeks later, rather than waiting our usual lead time. You won’t pay any extra for your jewellery and you will be buying your pieces locally.. Just ask your funeral directors to check out our Funeral Home Packages page here and get in touch.
Healthy Living
Many of you know that I’ve struggled a lot with my health, having depression, anxiety, endo and I’ve just been officially diagnosed with myalgic encephalomyelitis, also known as chronic fatigue. I’ve suffered since 2012 and my doctor thinks it’s from a virus I had in Tanzania. There’s no cure for ME but you can learn to manage the symptoms. I’ve had a course of cognitive behavioural therapy, I eat a plant-based diet and I have lots of help making the jewellery now. This was part of the reason for wanting to form a limited company so that we can overcome the ups and downs together. I’m so grateful for everyone’s support x
