Mystery Memorial Jewellery can be purchased individually now and will be a custom piece in a mystery setting. Please let us know in the comments on your order what you would like to send in eg. hair, fur, umbilical cord, cremation ash or petals or any combination of those, so we send the correct kit. Or it is a mystery piece that will be made alongside your order with the same elements but a different setting. If you have a request we will usually try our best to make it but it is not guaranteed. Does not include breastmilk jewellery – if you request this for breastmilk jewellery the order will be cancelled and refunded.
A mystery jewellery item is something that we make when we need more photographs of a new setting or variation, or a limited edition or prototype and will be valued at at least £60. If you include as many notes as possible with your order we will try to match it, for example, “my ring size is P and I love black” or “I have a Thomas Sabo necklace” or “my mother in law likes classic jewellery and could have the same piece as me but with blues and greens”. It could be a new exclusive design!
Mystery Memorial Jewellery Sending
We will post you a sending kit, if you want to send in extras let us know in the comments so we can send the right pots in your kit.
Mystery Memorial Jewellery Engraving
Will not be engraved, sorry. Can be any combination of cremation ashes, locks of hair, umbilical cord or placenta (not breastmilk) and will be set in resin and solid sterling silver. Will not include birthstones. May include a forget me not, precious metal leaf or a few characters handstamped (such as “Mum ♥️” but not “Loved and missed forever Dad 1952-2010”).
What will I get?
Please note that there is no guarantee of what you will get but our aim is to please. As with every other piece we sell they are completely 100% custom made and non-refundable. The mystery memorial jewellery items are also not included in our goodwill remake policy. Because they are occasionally trials of new techniques they will sometimes be more rough and handmade than our usual work (which is, honestly, rough and handmade anyway!) so please read our terms and conditions fully to understand the flaws that are possible.
