Heart Cord Dangle Charm
Our babies are only small for a moment. They gain their independence so quickly starting from when the umbilical cord is cut separating them from your shared placenta. We will cast a tiny bit of your baby’s cord stump or dried placenta powder into a sample setting to check you’re happy with the colour before creating your dangle charm.

You can pick one of our thirteen sparkle mixes, pearlescent “hint” colours, alcohol ink art or a combination of any of those or simply choose “classic cord” for a piece set in clear resin with a white background. Click on this colour options page to see more info about each variation, including how we place each of the colours and shimmers. Each piece will look unique because of the natural colours of the umbilical cord and placenta powder and we can’t predict the results. Colours vary from white to red, black, pink and brown and everything in between.

You can add a first curl as an additional element to any of our umbilical cord and placenta keepsake pieces, just write what you’d like in the box above.

You can request some extras in your piece by clicking here. For example, our forget me not flower and gold leaf are very popular – please make sure you see the example photos (as always) to ensure you have a good idea of how they might look. Usually, less is more!

We’ll send you a kit a week or so after you order and here’s some advice on sending it in, please read it. It’s really important you keep some back and don’t send too much. “Less is more” with keepsake jewellery.

You can choose a charm bead setting for European (Pandora style) or lobster claw (Thomas Sabo style) large link bracelets and necklaces. You’ll find our charm bead upgrades here including bracelets.

This listing is for a single 8mm, 12mm or 10mm heart shaped setting with a sideways bezel loop. Please read the Terms and Conditions fully before you order and be sure to realise this setting looks and feels handmade and won’t have mass-produced perfection.

Our dangle charm settings are too small to engrave but you can add a handstamped or laser engraved pendant here.
