blood jewellery colour options
You can pick one of our colour mixes, the “dragon’s blood red” is most popular because it honours the original colour of the blood, which appears in the jewellery as reddish brown or black flecks. Click on this colour options page to see more info about each variation, including how we place each of the colours and shimmers.
adding hair
You can add a lock of hair as an additional element to any of our blood jewellery keepsake pieces, just write what you’d like in the box above.
blood sending kits
We’ll send you a kit a week or so after you order and here’s some advice on sending it in, please read it. It’s really important you don’t try to draw too much, and you keep some back in case it’s lost in the post. “Less is more” with keepsake jewellery.

There are some instructions on our Baby Memorial Jewellery page on how to save miscarriage blood and cord blood if your baby is to be born sleeping including time sensitive information on stopping it from spoiling. If in doubt, freeze the blood or fabric straight away.

Dangle Charm Setting
You can choose a charm bead setting for European (Pandora style) or lobster claw (Thomas Sabo style) large link bracelets and necklaces. You’ll find our charm bead upgrades here including bracelets.

This listing is for a single 8x6mm or 13x9mm teardrop or pearl shaped setting with a sideways bezel loop. Please read the Terms and Conditions fully before you order and be sure to realise this setting looks and feels handmade and won’t have mass-produced perfection.
Charm Engraving
Engravable is done in Arial font as standard, but please let us know if you’d prefer another font such as Times New Roman, Vivaldi, Amazone BT, or Silver South Serif & Script in the comments of the product before adding it to the basket. Click on each font to see it “in action” with your chosen words. You can write *heart emoji* which works better than copy and pasting or adding an emoji to the basket!

Engraving is only available on a blank bead core. We have blogs with memorial quotes here and baby and breastfeeding quotes here. To add image engraving see this page – you can add handwriting, a fingerprint, handwriting etc
Add your text, up to 60 characters – upper and lower case, numbers and punctuation in your chosen font. You can choose Roman numerals, birth, marriage or death coordinates (we’re happy to help you work that out), or messages of love, hope, and remembrance. We are even happy to include more “colourful” or “spicy” language!
