Description

Resin opal ring in tough black ceramic, jewelry for celebration and mourning. We lose a person we love, or a pet who has been our companion through thick and thin, we don’t always have their cremation ashes or hair. By choosing a birthstone combination, we can keep a lasting tribute close to us.

Resin Colour Options

You can choose one of our 12 birthstone opal colours with clear resin.

January – red garnet colour (blood red)
February – amethyst colour (purple)
March – aquamarine colour (turquoise)
April – pink diamond colour (blush pink)
May – emerald colour (vibrant green)
June – rainbow moonstone colour (light blue purple)
July – ruby colour (deep red)
August – peridot colour (yellow green)
September – sapphire colour (deep blue)
October – classic opal colour (white)
November – yellow topaz or citrine colour (yellow amber)
December – tanzanite or blue topaz colour (indigo purple)

We use synthetic or lab opal to achieve vibrant colours. You can request any combination of birthstones to be mixed together, just choose one then ask for them in the comments. You can ask for a resin colour and precious metal leaf. For example, February amethyst (purple opal) and May emerald (green opal) with some blue sparkle mix resin. Look at the colour options page here for info on the sparkle mixes. Each piece will look unique because of the colours of the colour combination and we can’t predict the results. We can do any colour just tell us in the comments the shade you’d like.

Ring Material

This ring is made from tough ceramic, which is not a precious metal. If you’d prefer solid silver click here or for solid gold click here. If your ceramic ring becomes chipped, luckily it will usually be hard to notice due to the colour running all the way through.

Polished Black Ceramic Ring with Channel Groove

Our Black Ceramic Channel Rings are sophisticated, modern and bold. They have smoothed edges and an easy to put on comfort fit band, they’re scratch-resistant and waterproof, non-conductive and hypoallergenic. Found just below diamond on the Mohs hardness scale, this material is tough, strong and almost completely scratch-proof. The charcoal black colour of our black ceramic rings gives a rugged, industrial or gothic aesthetic. It is nickel-free and metal-free, corrosion and tarnish-free and completely hypoallergenic, making it safe for even the most sensitive skin. They’re also temperature stable, they don’t get hot in the sun or super cold in the winter like metal rings.

Ring Size

As we don’t send out kits for birthstone rings the way we would with inclusion jewellery, we can’t send you a ring sizer but you can buy one like this on Amazon (just don’t go for the adjustable ones!). It will automatically be made a size bigger to allow for their width. Flat bands are popular options for keepsake jewelry for men and we can make any size up to Z+8 or more. Ring Engraving

Engraving can be done in Arial font as standard, Times New Roman, or Silver South Serif. Click on each font to see it “in action” with your chosen words. We can work with any font, please get in touch to discuss alternatives. Copy and paste these emojis, sometimes the ones on a phone or tablet aren’t accepted when you try to add to basket!
