How To Optimise Your Facebook Page
You need to have a Facebook page if you want to interact with your clients on social media. As a small business owner and parent to two under-fours I have to work smart not hard. So I want to show you how I cut a few corners when it comes to my Facebook page. Firstly, even though I have a part time admin assistant there are times throughout the day when neither of us are available on the messages on Facebook. So we set an auto reply so that clients can feel acknowledged and to promote the “call to action”, which is (for us) the link to the website so clients can look at the pieces available. For you, though, it might be a telephone number or a link to your Etsy store.
How to Set Auto-Response on Facebook
It’s easier to do this on a computer, but if you’ve only got your phone then open your page in the browser, not the app. In Google Chrome on your phone you can click Options in the top right hand side then choose Request Desktop Site
On a computer
1. Go to your Facebook page and click Settings
2. In the Settings menu choose Messaging
3. Scroll down to the Response Assistant
4. Personalise the message how you like and you can include your call to action, like your website or telephone number
How To Optimise Your Facebook Page
Please let me know if you’ve got any requests for tutorials. I love teaching and helping other small business owners and freelance or work at home parents. When we start a small business it can be so hard to keep focussing on the goals when you’re not making a profit yet, but that day will come sooner if you take advantage of the ways you can optimise your page.
