The Solid Gold Bead

A stunning 9ct solid gold resin bead for European style bracelets such as Pandora, made to hold your loved one close on the bracelet you already wear every day.

This isn't just a bead, it's a way to keep someone close. A trace of them, respectfully cast into the resin, so you're never really without them. Made with real care, it becomes something you can touch, hold, and carry with you, not just a memory, but something tangible.

What We Can Preserve For You

We work with all kinds of precious things, and you're never limited to just one:

  • Ashes: a loved one's, a person's or a pet's, all handled with the same care
  • Hair: your baby's first curl, or a lock from someone you miss
  • Fur: your best friend's fur, mane or tail hair
  • Breastmilk: just a few ml, or up to half an ounce, of your liquid gold
  • Blood: we'll send a kit so you can take and dry a drop (or more, if you'd like)
  • Umbilical cord: just a tiny snip, about the size of an orange seed
  • Placenta: a single capsule is all we need, if you've had yours encapsulated
  • Birthstone: vibrant synthetic opal as standard, or your own genuine stone on request

How to Make It Yours

1. Choose your metal This bead comes with a hallmarked solid 9ct gold core, designed to fit seamlessly alongside other beads like Pandora and Trollbeads. Our insert hole is around 4.5mm and should fit all Pandora, Biagi or Chamilia bracelets. 2. Choose what goes inside, and how Once you order, we'll post out a Sending Kit with everything you need. Please take a moment to read our advice on sending it in, it's genuinely important. Try not to send too much ash, and keep some back just in case. With keepsake jewellery, less really is more.

3. Pick your colour and sparkle Choose one of our resin sparkle mixes, or "classic ash" for a piece set in clear resin against a white background. Head to our colour options page to see each variation in more detail. If you're after men's cremation jewellery, we can also do flat, non sparkly colours to pair with a men's Pandora style bracelet. Every piece turns out a little different, the natural colour of the ashes plays its part and we can't predict exactly how each one will look. Fancy something extra? 4. Add your engraving Our bead cores can be engraved with a few words. As the core is small and curves around the bead as you engrave, the lettering needs to stay small too. If you'd like a longer quote, more names or dates, we'd recommend pairing this with a laser engraved washer instead, they sit neatly around the bead on your bracelet.

Engraving comes in Arial as standard, or Times New Roman and Silver South Serif. We wouldn't recommend image engraving or handwriting fonts like Vivaldi, Amazone BT or Silver South Script on this piece, they're a little too small to read clearly here. Nikki's considered an expert in this field and has been teaching people how to make cremation ashes Pandora style beads, in person and online, since 2016, so you're in safe hands.
