This is beauty and practicality. An incredibly simple design to keep your beloved memories close all the time. A little trace of them, held within the orb itself, so you're never really without them. Made with real care, this rolled gold necklace shows your love of handmade with full attention to detail.

What We Can Preserve For You

We work with all kinds of precious things, and you're never limited to just one:

• Ashes: a loved one's, a person's or a pet's, all handled with the same care
• Hair: your baby's first curl, or a lock from someone you miss
• Fur: your best friend's fur, mane or tail hair
• Breastmilk: just a few ml, or up to half an ounce, of your liquid gold
• Blood: we'll send a kit so you can take and dry a drop (or more, if you'd like)
• Umbilical cord: just a tiny snip, about the size of an orange seed
• Placenta: a single capsule is all we need, if you've had yours encapsulated
• Birthstone: vibrant synthetic opal as standard, or your own genuine stone on request, included free with this piece

Want to combine a few? Blood with a lock of hair, or breastmilk with a snip of umbilical cord, that's the kind of thing we do all the time. Tell us your story and we'll help you find a way to hold it.

How to Make It Yours

1. Choose what goes inside, and how Pick one element or a few together. Once you order, we'll post out a Sending Kit with everything you need plus clear instructions for sending each piece to us safely.

2. Pick your colour and sparkle Choose one of our resin sparkle mixes (our beach scene is a favourite) or go clear and tell us what you're picturing. Fancy a touch of gold or silver leaf to catch the light? No extra charge. Prefer no sparkle at all, just a flat colour? That's fine too. We can even tuck in little extras on request: forget me nots, a tiny Boobie Award for your breastfeeding milestones, whatever feels right.

3. Add a rolled gold cage You can choose to upgrade to a gold filled cage. They're wrapped by hand.

Handled With Care

Everything you send us is looked after personally by Nikki and her team. We know these aren't just materials, they're pieces of someone you love, and we treat them that way, every step of the process. Anything we don't use gets carefully tracked and sent back to you with your finished ring (breastmilk is the one exception, as we keep a small archive of that for years to come).

• Chain: 18"/45cm lightweight gold filled chain
• Setting: 11mm resin orb, wire wrapped by hand with gold filled wire to form a loop
• Materials: highest quality recycled 14/20 yellow rolled gold*, and jewellery grade Japanese preservation resin

*"rolled gold" or "gold filled" metals are gold bonded to a brass core, this is long lasting alternative to gold plated items as the gold doesn't tend to wear away. Rolled gold is NOT hallmarked, as it's not solid gold.
