Lock of Hair Orb

Description

Lock of hair orb necklace or dangle charm for Pandora or Thomas Sabo bracelets. Photos don’t show every detail so we can put your loved ones’ hair, your little one’s first curl or a little of your pets’ fur into a lock of hair orb with crystal clear resin. 

We will respectfully cast only your loved one’s hair or fur into resin and give you a choice of spheres. You can see Nikki’s YouTube tutorials here and know that I never film without your permission. I’m considered an expert and offer advanced courses in making memorial jewellery, so you’re in safe hands. You might see my designs and stock images elsewhere because other memorial artists buy them from me over on Keepsaker Supplies (you’re welcome to buy from there if you’d rather DIY!)

You can view our colour option galleries here (click) for lots of examples of pieces using that colour mix. Each piece will look unique because of the natural colours of the hair or fur and we can’t predict the results. Gallery photos are EXAMPLES and results will always vary! We will use our best efforts with white hair, which is clear in resin, to give the hair some depth and bounce some light off the strands. If you’d like us to use grey, white, salt and pepper or very light blonde hair then it may or may not show up in the resin, have a look at this gallery

We’ll send you a kit a week or so after you order and see the Sending Elements page here for instructions. It’s really important you keep some back just in case. You can send us a photo on our Facebook page of the amount you have with a penny for scale, so we can tell you how much of it we need for your order. Let us know in the comments if you want to send hair or fur from one or more people/pets and their names, we will send you a pot for each sample of hair (no extra charge)

Lock of Hair Orb Settings

1. Lock of Hair Necklace Setting

The setting for the lock of hair necklace also includes a light weight 18”/45cm sterling silver chain but you can upgrade to a more secure, different style or longer chain here. We highly recommend this!

2. Lock of Hair Dangle Charm Settings

You can choose a charm bead setting for European (Pandora style) for snake chain bracelets and necklaces, or 9mm lobster clasp (Thomas Sabo style) for large link bracelets and necklaces. You’ll find our charm bead upgrades here including engraved accessories and bracelets.

Our orb settings are too small to engrave but you can add a handstamped or laser engraved pendant here.

This listing is for a single 11mm “orb” pearl/sphere which now comes with an Argentium silver (solid silver, slightly purer than sterling so it won’t tarnish so easily) hand wire wrapped bail, made from 0.7mm wire. We no longer add the ball at the bottom. The base is flat shiny solid silver domed disc around 6mm wide. Please read the Terms and Conditions fully before you order and be sure to realise this setting looks and feels handmade and won’t have mass-produced perfection.
