Gold Cord Channel Ring for men and all jewellery lovers. Perfect for preserved placenta too! Our babies are only small for a moment. They gain their independence so quickly starting from when the umbilical cord is cut separating them from your shared placenta.
We will cast a tiny bit of your baby’s cord stump or dried placenta powder into resin and give you a choice of beads. I’m considered an expert and offer advanced courses in making umbilical cord and placenta jewellery, so you’re in safe hands. You might see my designs and stock images elsewhere because other breastmilk artists buy them from me over on Keepsaker Supplies (you’re welcome to buy from there if you’d rather DIY!)

You can pick one of our nineteen colour sparkle mixes, or choose “classic cord” for a piece set in clear resin with a white background. Click on this colour options page to see more info about each variation, including how we place each of the colours and shimmers. Each piece will look unique because of the natural colours of the umbilical cord and placenta powder and we can’t predict the results. Colours vary from white to red, black, pink and brown and everything in between.

We’ll send you a kit a week or so after you order and here’s some advice on sending it in, please read it. It’s really important you keep some ash back and don’t send too much. “Less is more” with keepsake jewellery.

We have a small fund available for these pieces and some instructions on our Non-Profit Baby Memorial page on how to save a first curl, placenta and umbilical cord if your baby is to be born sleeping and ash if they are cremated.
Umbilical Gold Cord Channel Ring
These rings are cast by hand in England and is custom made for you in either 9ct or 18ct solid gold, in your choice of either a yellow gold cord or placenta ring or rose gold ring. You can choose any size but there will be a gold surcharge for sizes over an S. The ring can be made from your own Sentimental Gold upon request.

Ring Size
You can choose “send sizer” from the ring size dropdown above and we will post one out with your kit. It’s no extra charge. As the band is 5mm wide it will automatically be made a size bigger to allow for the width. Flat bands are popular options for cremation jewelry for men and we can make any size up to Z+8 or more. Please do not use a tape measure! Request an Inclusive Ring Sizer if you think your size might be smaller or larger than the usual sizer. Ring Engraving
Engraving can be done in Arial font as standard, Times New Roman, or Silver South Serif. Twist and bubble bands aren’t suitable for engraving! Click on each font to see it “in action” with your chosen words. We can work with any font, please get in touch to discuss alternatives. Copy and paste these emojis, sometimes the ones on a phone or tablet aren’t accepted when you try to add to basket!

Engraving is done on the inside of our bands as standard, please let us know in the comments if you’d prefer it on the outside. We have blogs with memorial quotes here and baby quotes here. For image engraving see this page – you can add handwriting, fingerprints, footprints, paw prints and handprints or a special pattern.
