Collection: gold cord rings

Solid gold umbilical cord rings and placenta rings are made by hand by Nikki Lovegrove and team. Using just your baby's dried cord stump or half a capsule of placenta powder in resin. All of my gold ring settings are a minimum of 9ct gold 375 hallmarked, but we can also offer 14ct and 18ct in both yellow gold and rose gold.

Add free engraving to your handmade ring along with your choice of colour and other inclusions. We will post you a sending kit with instructions, and accept international orders. You only need a tiny bit of cord and can customise your piece however you like.

Choose the simple classic look or add something extra. We offer pearly and pastel sparkle mixes, glitters, tints, alcohol inks and non-sparkly shades, precious metal leaf, birthstone and birth month flower colours, or literally any colour of crushed opal.

Many of our rings are engravable (except the twist and bubble bands). You can add a keepsake phrase like “forever in my heart” or your baby's name and DOB, and emojis like hearts and stars.

These rings are cast by hand or made from scratch with wire and sheet in England and are custom made for you in either 9ct or 18ct solid gold, in your choice of either a yellow gold ring or rose gold ring. You can choose any size but there will be a gold surcharge for sizes over an S. The ring can be made from your own Sentimental Gold upon request.
