Tree of Opals lead times are estimates of how long your order will take. Please scroll down to see more information about our maximum lead times and do not rely on these estimates for gifts, weddings or “needing” your jewellery sooner.
We are usually able to offer Priority Order Slots given enough notice. Please get in touch with Nikki by email on email@example.com or on our Facebook Page to discuss the date requested. We are happy to help create pieces for weddings and other important occasions but they must be authorised before you order.
Memorial Jewellery Gift Deadline
Our memorial jewellery makes a beautiful gift. If you are certain that somebody would like cremation ashes jewellery or lock of hair jewellery then please get in touch to let us know when you want to receive it by. If we can help, we will offer you a Priority Order Slot and
Wedding Memorial Jewellery Deadline
We are able to offer special deadlines for memorial jewellery, please get in touch before ordering a Priority Order Slot so we can guarantee the date and advise you when we need to receive by and post by. It is usually possible for us to help especially when a loved one has just passed away and your wedding is close. We offer all sorts of pieces suitable for men and women (our jewellery can be worn by anyone!) Popular choices for weddings are memorial cufflinks and our heart collection. Our engraving and hallmarking are sent off once a month but we may be able to send off your pieces for an extra charge if we have time.
Gift eVouchers and Certificates
We have electronic gift certificates (click here) that are emailed. If the email doesn’t arrive it may have been automatically deleted by your email provider, see question 8 on our FAQ page here. Let us know if you can’t find it and we will give you the code.
You can choose it to be sent on a physical gift card of recycled high-quality cardstock on the checkout. Or, you can order the jewellery and choose the physical gift voucher on the checkout, which will be sent with the kit and makes a lovely last-minute gift (the recipient can make changes to any item of equal value or pay the difference to upgrade).
Holiday Dates 2020
6th – 21st April 2020
Nikki will be away for two weeks in April and will not be answering emails during this time or shipping orders. We will still be working on orders during this time and sending proof pictures. The PO box won’t be checked during this time so don’t send unless you’re happy to wait (you can check your kit has arrived using the tracking number the Post Office gave you if you returned the kit Special Delivery). If you have an urgent enquiry, please email Joanna on firstname.lastname@example.org with the title “URGENT”. Estimated lead times around this time will take the holiday into account and don’t forget our maximum lead times!
August 2020 onwards
Nikki and family will be taking a few months’ personal time from August 2020 onwards. You will still be allowed to order but please check our T’s and C’s for the maximum lead times when you order as they are likely to be extended. For orders placed before then please remember you are expected to return your kit within a month of receipt; if you order early 2020 and don’t send in your ashes or hair until September then your order will have to wait until Nikki’s return. We may not be guaranteeing any orders in time for Christmas this year, depending on dates and staff.
Maximum Lead Times
Tree of Opals estimated lead times change regularly and are usually accurate but you must remember that our maximum lead times can be quite long, currently up to six months with engraving and hallmarking from receipt of both full payment and your elements (ashes/hair etc.) Whilst it’s unlikely an order will take that long, they are listed in the Terms and Conditions which you agree to twice when you order, and they cover Nikki and team for family emergencies and any personal problems that could arrive. If you are not satisfied that your order may take this long, then please do not order in the first place. On the checkout, there is a box where you must promise us you’ve read them so please do not message us to say you’re not happy waiting.
